What do I need to be perpared to train ?
.
1) Treats - cut into pea size / pouch /reg collar / a haltie maybe
muzzle /reg 6 ft leah / reg collar/ 30 ft line / clicker .
( For anxiety ect maybe you may need other things)
like a thunder shirt - calming treats .
2) Reg light weight leash - 6 ft
no big handles on leash / no flexi leash in the start .
4) May need some oils for scent Detection /q -tips/ gloves.
twizzerz / few containers to cut wholes on it .
5) Puppy house training - note book to log in times dates .
6) If working with fears - list of the fears = objects of the fear`s.
7) A willness to have fun with your dog !
Take brakes in learning - play tug - ball .
8) Must be honest if your dog has bitten before.

9) You may want to make you own back yard agility ?

10 ) You may learn that tricks are fun and your dog can learn

Questions and answers ?
1) Do I have to use the clicker ? (method of training)
No you dont have to but its 68% faster then any other method.
You can use a marker word - instead ! Yes ! Nice! Yup! Good!
The clicker is not forever , only till the behaviour is changed .

2) Do I have to use treats? - I don`t want to brib my dog!
We don`t brib our dogs , but we allow them to work for their meals .
Your dog will need to think things through, to earn its meal.
Treats are used when things are hard like on the walk .Around fears.
You will not always have to use food. Tho I just enjoy hand feeding my dog ! You will work on toys . opening a door , playing ball as a rewards too !
3 ) What do I need for training?
You will need a treat pouch / clicker / reg collar / 6 ft leash / 30
foot line . This is a basic ! You could need a muzzel ( Which I think every dog should be muzzel trained. )or you may need a haltie .
If you dog ha to go into the vet most dogs get the mouth velcred shut and they cant breath or take treats . but if you bring in your dog muzzeled with treats they will love you !
4 ) Can you guarantee my dog will be trainied .
I can`t guarantee you will do all the work . I could if you finish all the homework . lol Something`s need mangment not training.

5 ) I dont want to use a muzzle - do I have to use it ?
In a private session in your home if your dog has bitten a humane / dog for saftey reasons and you dont want your dog to practice this .
A muzzle can give your dog freedom ! I can teach you to help your dog love the muzzle. safety always comes first!
6 ) How many sessions do I need ?
You can have any where from 3 hrs to 5 hrs. This is a base line .
I do have programs up to 10 hr sessions .
7 ) what age should I start socializing my puppy?
From birth but you shouldnt get a puppy less then 8 weeks old. They need to learn from their litter mates and mom. You will start as soon as you bring you puppy home. To sounds / surfaces/ objects/ other animals - dogs in a safe setting !
8 ) If I can`t afford training but really want to learn , what can I do ?
I have online training at a affordable price. $35 per 30 mins!
you can do training every week / every 2 weeks / once a month if thats all you can afford for now. Each half hour is like a full hour of
class time but we have no noisy barking dogs or people!
You can choose one hour sessions or half hour sesions !
( its all the same education as a class but in a private setting ).
I send a link you click on it like fb messanger we can talk and you can see me demo my dogs! I try hard to help people who really want
to help teach their dogs !!
What if I am not satisfied with A Dog's Choice?
You can Email the company and fully explain why your not happy .
We take this very seriously , so please allow us to clear this up .
1) Dogs need about 8 weeks to finish one course to see
improvement. About 15 mins a day - each meal to hand feed and do your training!
2) A full Package must be used with in 2 months time. no Refunds
for not used time.
3) Each time a re booking happens I lose $80.00 for that
apointment Please be kind and allow 24 hours notice !
4) The understanding that muzzels are used for safty. Must love the
muzzle! ask how your dog can love it too!
5) No money refund - I can add on lesons - if your not satisfied .
6) Please always ask questions / If your stuck cause you dog is still not listening tell me so I can guide you so you will be satisfied!
You should love to train with your dog - if your not tell me I will be glad to help you out ! I do go the extra mile to help all my clients!
Are there any benefits for first-time customers?
1) If you are a first time client, I do give out small gifts if you finish
your lessons! along with a certificate !
2) I do put your pups face on my instagram for first timers!
